4-10 Maintaining and Transporting the Printer

9. Repack the printer, paper trays, power cord, and any other parts in the

original boxes.

Remember to keep the printer level during transport.

To set up the printer after transporting it, follow the instructions in Chapter 1. Note

the following:

• The first time you print after transporting the printer, the print head nozzles may be

clogged. You may need to run a cleaning cycle, as described on page 4-1.

• If you reinstall the cartridges you removed before transporting the printer, make sure

the printer is turned off when you install them.
